The experience was so great that after we finished "Origins" we stayed and played "Escape Artists" - back to back escape rooms with an underlying theme, we couldn't resist!įrom the moment you step into each room, you are immersed in the story lines. Of note, this is not a chain escape room - it is a mom-and-pop local establishment that put a lot of care and detail into their rooms. We had a lengthy conversation about the rooms and escape rooms in general after our games, and they were kind enough to make suggestions for other local establishments to check out as well. The owners and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Easy to find once you know where to look. It is in the same plaza at the Golden Corral - you just have to drive around the building to the backside. However, you won't find it by driving by. What a wonderful addition the Orlando escape room market! We have completed over 40 escape rooms across Central Florida (and other areas as well) over the past several years, and this is definitely one that is worth visiting. The kids would not stop talking about it the entire ride home. We drove over 45 minutes to do this escape room, and it was totally worth it. We DEFINITELY plan to return to try out their new rooms when they open, and we will definitely be recommending them to anyone we talk to about Escape Rooms!!! I will say that I found 1 or 2 of the puzzles to be a little "Tricky", but they are all absolutely solvable, and the answers are all in the room. This room was our #30 room, and we encountered a couple of puzzles that we had not seen before. The décor in the room was excellent! Very authentic looking. We absolutely LOVE that all the rooms are going to share the ongoing Nexus theme. The next positive, the business is VERY clean, and you can tell that they are putting a lot of effort into the décor. We had a great time discussing other escape rooms, comic books, and movies with them. First I would like to mention that from the moment we entered the business, EVERY single employee on staff that day, was about as friendly and helpful as can be. Last weekend we gave their Origins room a try. We value their opinions, so we decided to give them a try, based on the recommendation. We first saw an advertisement for Get Out Escape Room on the Facebook of one of our other favorite local escape room companies. I was thrilled that my 14 year old had fun with something other than gaming in his computer! Thank you so much Alex! My 16 year old was experienced at escape rooms and she loved this one. It was so fun and satisfying to figure out a puzzle and it took all of us working together! Alex was impressed with our work! The ending is so cool, so don't be stingy about asking for clues if you want to see how the story ends! In the end my teenagers ages 16 and 14 had a really great time playing the game and it was fun to see them use their brain. We were also given a case holding a key component of our mission, which would take us to present-day Egypt and the Sphinx. just enough sci-fi without getting too complicated for a short introductory video. We watched a video that oriented us to the overall storyline, which involves alien technology and time travel. Knowing that, we can't wait to bring our spouses and play again. We later noticed that all the rooms at this location are part of a connected storyline. You can tell that a lot of careful and interesting thought went into the puzzles and game story. ![]() The game is called Origins, is set in Egypt and we would later have the opportunity to Chat with the owner and creator of the game. We arrived and signed our waivers and were able to enjoy the game with our friends and two smart teenage girls that had played before. so I booked with a military discount for those that are eligible! Thank you Alex! It was the luck of the Irish that they had an opening for 5:00 p.m. My daughter loves escape rooms so I called around to find one to try. Every attraction off of International was "very busy" according to Yelp. We went to GET OUT ESCAPE ROOM during CRAZY spring break week in Orlando.
